Jane-Crumley-1467117172Jane C. Crumley, 69, of Oil City, died peacefully in her home on Monday, June 27, 2016.

Born December 29, 1946 in Charleston, WV, she was a daughter of the late Thomas R. and Sarah E. Phillips Marchal.

She graduated from Bangor Area High School and worked for many years in the retail and food service industries, most recently at the McDonald’s in Oil City.

Jane attended the Fellowship of Believers in Centerville and Oil City Community Alliance Church.

Her faith was very important to her and she made it the foremost part of her life to share God’s love and message with everyone she met. She loved being the family photographer and always had her camera ready at every family event. Jane also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Samuel F. Marlatt Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Shippenville, Daniel W. Marlatt and his wife Wendy of Seneca, and Michael M. Marlatt and his wife Rosaria of Nazareth; a daughter, Melanie M. Witte and her husband Jerome of Oil City; ten grandchildren, Sammy Marlatt III, Melissa Marlatt, Zander Marlatt, Rebecca McFall, Rachel Marlatt, Nolan Marlatt, Chris Knecht, Amanda Knecht, Ben Knecht, and Faith Witte; and two great-grandchildren, Aedan Hutchinson and Mason Marlatt.

Also surviving are three sisters, Diane, Thomasina, and Betty Sue.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 12:30 on Thursday with the Rev. Daniel Marlatt officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Jane, the family suggests taking someone out to dinner and taking a picture.
