  • Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson was suspended three playoff games by the NHL Department of Player Safety on Wednesday for a hit to the head of Pittsburgh Penguins forward Zach Aston-Reese in Game 3 of their teams’ Eastern Conference semifinal series.
  • Penn State linebacker Brandon Smith and defensive tackle Tyrell Chavis have both inked undrafted free agent deals in the wake of this past weekend’s NFL Draft.
  • Coach Mike Sullivan didn’t proclaim the Penguins power play is back, but he did feel better about it after a goal in a Game 3 loss to the Washington Capitals.
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t have to talk themselves into drafting Mason Rudolph. The voices in the halls of Oklahoma State’s campus told them to do it.
