21-Year-Old Jailed on Terroristic Threats, False Imprisonment, and Related Charges

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A 21-year-old man has been placed in the Venango County Jail following a domestic dispute at Oak Hill Apartments in Franklin, Venango County.

According to Franklin Police, around 3:36 p.m. on March 8, 21-year-old Quintin Jay Williams, a transient, allegedly became physically violent with the victim and refused to allow the victim to leave the residence at Oak Hill Apartments for an extended period of time.

Police say Williams also allegedly employed other methods to prevent the victim from calling for help in any manner.

Williams was arrested and arraigned in front of Judge Lowrey on charges of terroristic threats; false imprisonment; simple assault; defiant trespass; criminal mischief; and harassment.

He was remanded to Venango County Jail unable to post $75,000.00 straight bail.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on March 13.
