OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — A 49-year-old man was charged with indecent assault stemming from an incident that occurred early Wednesday morning in Oil City.

According to court documents, the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 49-year-old Ronald Anthony McNatt, of Temple Bell, Texas.

According to the criminal complaint, around 4:38 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, Oil City Police were called to a residence on Hoffman Avenue where an 18-year-old female and her mother said Ronald McNatt had touched the teen inappropriately.

The girl said “she was sitting on the couch with McNatt, and he began to rub her arms, legs, and breasts before placing his hand down her pants,” according to the complaint.

The girl said she immediately stood up and began to go upstairs. McNatt then apologized to her, the complaint states.

McNatt was interviewed at the Oil City Police Department, and he admitted to putting his hands on her waistline and then put his fingers down her pants and to “possibly touching her breasts on accident when he had his arm on top of the couch, and his arm fell down,” the complaint indicates.

Based on the investigation, McNatt was arraigned at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, in District Judge Andrew Fish’s office.

He faces a second-degree misdemeanor charge of Indecent Assault-Without Consent Of Other.

He is free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, with Judge Fish presiding.
