$6,000 Worth of Jewelry Stolen from Venango County Residence

CANAL TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police are investigating the theft of $6,000 of jewelry in Canal Township.

According to police, this incident occurred sometime between 1:00 a.m. on July 18 and 9:40 a.m. on July 19.

Police said an unknown number of individuals forced their way into the rear entrance of a residence on Deckards Run Road in Canal Township and proceeded to steal approximately $6,000.00 worth of jewelry, as well as a safe which belonged to the victim.

The case remains under investigation.
