8-Year-Old Girl Suffers Injuries in Crawford County BB Gun Shooting

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, an 8-year-old girl was injured when she was hit by BB’s while she was a passenger in a car on State Route 98 in Hayfield Township.

State police say the 8-year-old suffered minor injuries when two boys fired a BB gun at a car in which she was a passenger on Wednesday.

According to police, 30-year-old Ian Randolph of Meadville, 33-year-old Brenda Randolph of Meadville, and the girl were traveling southbound on State Route 98 in Hayfield Township around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday when BB’s entered the rear passenger window.

The girl was transported to Meadville Medical Center, and she has since been released.

The suspects have been identified as two 13-year-old boys from Saegertown.
