80-year-old Woman Flown to UPMC Hamot Following Crash

OIL CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – An 80-year-old woman was flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie following one-vehicle crash yesterday.

Franklin-based state police said 80-year-old Patricia M. Riley of Taft, Californina, was traveling north on SR-227 around 12:54 p.m. when her 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier left the roadway and struck a tree stump before striking a tree with its front-end.

Riley was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment of major injuries.

There’s no word on her current condition.
