FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — “A Taste of Franklin” weekend continues today.

On Saturday, August 5, the stores will sponsor their 57th Annual Old Fashioned Bargain Days.

DeBence Antique Music World will host old fashioned organ grinders throughout the downtown Saturday and Sunday.

A Taste of Franklin Farmers Market will be held at 12th Street Island.  Farmers, bakers, and crafters will be giving out samples and recipes on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

On Saturday evening, the Taste of Talent Vocal Competition Semi-Finals will be held at Bandstand Park at 7:00 p.m.

There are eight semi-finalists competing to reach the final four.

On Sunday, food lovers won’t want to miss A Taste of Franklin in Fountain Park from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sample Franklin’s finest cuisine from 23 restaurants, delis, and bakeries. CATRO, featuring talented musicians and vocalist Tammi Dahl will be in Concert.  There will be entertainment for children and a Magic Show at 1:00 p.m.  Motorcyclists can cruise-in and park at 12th Street Island.

Stores will be open on Sunday with great bargains.

AT 4:00 p.m. on Sunday the Finalists of the Taste of Talent Vocal Competition will perform in Bandstand Park.
