TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — There will be an Agritourism Meeting on March 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sarah Stewart Bovard Memorial Library in Tionesta.
The meeting will include the following topics:
- Learn about the agritourism survey that was conducted in Forest County and the impact of Forest County’s attraction to hundreds of thousands of tourists each year.
- Learn how the agricultural community is responding to agritourism.
- Discuss possible outcomes such as a Local Foods guide, websites, or educational workshops.
- Learn about the “Local Foods, Local Places” federal grant award which was awarded to Forest County.
This meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about expanding agritourism opportunities in Forest County and in the region.
