What is your favorite thing about being in the military?

…Being part of a family unlike any other. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like, when you put that uniform on in the morning, you are all on the same team with the same mission.

What inspires you to be in the military?

My inspiration is my family. In today’s economy, it’s very comforting to know that I can provide for my family, while still doing something I love.

What is your most memorable moment in the military?

My most memorable moment in the military would have to be graduating basic training. Standing on the parade field just waiting for your family to find you and show their love and support and seeing how proud they are of your accomplishments is an amazing feeling!

Family Life?

I have a 7 month old daughter (Taylor Spencer) and a husband of 3+ years(Curtis Spencer). My husband is also Active Duty Air Force, so at times it is difficult, as he deploys a lot, but at the same time, it’s nice to have someone who understands whole-heartedly about the job and what is expected.
