Altercation in Oil City Results in Disorderly Conduct, Drug Arrest

oil-city-policeOIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City Police say two individuals were arrested around 10:34 p.m. on November 13 after an altercation on Elm Street and Veterans Bridge, in Oil City, Venango County.

Police say a known, 47-year-old man and a known, 38-year-old woman, of Oil City, were arrested late Friday night by the Oil City Police Department after police witnessed them arguing outside of the police station.

“The female and male were yelling profanities at each other after they got dinner at McDonald’s and were walking back home with their food,” according to police.

Police say both individuals were visibly intoxicated and were arrested.

The known man was also found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

He will be charged with drug charges along with public intoxication.

The known woman was charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Charges will be filed through Magistrate Fish.
