FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will be hosting a public meeting on the redesign proposals for the intersection of Liberty and 12th Street in Franklin on Tuesday, January 7.

The open house-type meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 1102 Liberty Street in Franklin. Enter by the red, street-level side door, off 11th Street.

PennDOT Spokeswoman Jillian Harry told exploreVenango.com that proposed design modifications for the intersection will be on display. Residents can come to the meeting at any time during those two hours and weigh in on the proposed designs.

“We’ve worked with a consultant. We put together several different options for that intersection,” Harry explained.

“Residents will be able to see what those different options are, and then they’ll be able to comment on what aspects of those options they like or dislike.”
