Andrew J. (Andy) Drelick, 81, of Seneca died at 9:05 P.M. Thursday July 17, 2014 at the Baptist Homes in Pittsburgh after an extended illness.

Born August 28, 1932 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Andrew J. Drelick & Julia Goreczny Drelick.

He attended the Assumption B.V.M. School and was a graduate of Oil City High School.

Mr. Drelick was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War.

He had been employed as a blowmold technician by Continental Can Co. for over 33years.

He attended both the Assumption B.V.M. Church and St. Stephen’s Church.

Mr. Drelick was an active member of the AA.

He enjoyed gardening.

Andy is survived by 5 children, Julia Ann Slater of Norristown, Kathleen J. Jury of Erie, PA., Susan Marie Eperthener and her husband Dave of Bethel Park, Andrew F. Drelick of Seneca, Theresa M. Sharp and her husband Sean of Lancaster, OH; a son-in-law, Don Slater of Sewickley; Five grandchildren, Megan Slater, Tommy Slater, Alex Jury, Ryan Zavitz and Kevin Zavitz.

He is survived by two sisters, Joan Sonoski of Seneca and Helen Jasiota of Oil City.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Pintal & Sophie Ziemba; and by 7 brothers, Stanley, Bruno, Joe, Frank (Coke),Adam , John and an infant brother Anthony.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 7-9 P.M. Sunday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday in the Assumption B.V.M. Church, Fr. Justin P. Pino, Pastor, Presiding.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice or to Family Hospice or Baptist Homes of Pittsburgh, PA.
