Annual Clarion River Sojourn Set for This Weekend

SIGEL, Pa. (EYT) — Celebrate Pennsylvania’s 2019 River of the Year by participating in the annual celebratory 24-mile paddle along the Clarion River.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23.

Participants will learn about the Clarion River’s cultural heritage, ecological resilience, and importance to the Clarion community. Enjoy the calming waters of the Clarion River all the way from Hallton to Cook Forest State Park.

Free overnight camping will be provided at the midway stop at Clear Creek State Park.

Individuals are welcome to attend either day: one day for $50.00 or both days as a package for $90.00.
