PITTSBURGH, Pa. — The application deadline for the Pennsylvania State Police is December 31, 2017.

– Applicants must be at least 20 years of age on or before the date the application is completed.

– Applicants cannot have reached their 40th birthday prior to or on the date of appointment as a State Police Cadet.

– Applicants must possess 60 semester credit hours in an accredited institution of higher education upon appointment to a cadet class.

NOTE: Specific degrees or any degree at all, are not required. Credit hours are required. Please review the website for waivers for prior law enforcement experience and active duty military service.

– Applicants must be a U.S. citizen.

The starting salary is $59,567.00.
