FRANKLIN, Pa. — Jennifer Mays of Franklin has been appointed to the position of Venango County Republican State Committeewoman.

“We are thrilled to have Jennifer, in this position. She is a concerned Republican, a friendly, high energy activist in everything she does,” said Martha Breene, Chairwoman of the Venango County Republican Committee.

Martha Breene was elected the parties State Committee woman in 2014 and was again elected Chairwoman of the Venango County Republican Committee last June. Since June Martha Breene held both positions as the Republican Parties County Chairwoman and its State Committeewoman while seeking a replacement for this State Committee position.

“In seeking a replacement for the appointment serious criteria were sought for both the present and future of our Republican Party in Venango county and Jennifer met them all. Among these were the necessity of being unequivocally Republican, committed to Republican core conservative principles, and dependably helping with Party and its events on behalf of our counties Republicans.”

Jennifer Mays, is both a community activist and business owner, with 17 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Breene says “people-centered conservative policies is a family affair” for Jennifer and her husband Fred. They are the Republican Committeeman and Committeewoman in Franklin 3. Fred was elected to Franklin City Council this past November.
