VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. — The Annual Open Enrollment Period for Medicare is October 15-December 7, 2015.

During this period, Medicare beneficiaries can enroll or make changes to their Part D (prescription plan) and/or Medicare Advantage Plan.

If you aren’t sure which Medicare plan is right for you, APPRISE can help. Medicare is confusing. Every year things change. You are not always sure what makes sense. We are a free health insurance counseling program for Pennsylvanians with Medicare. Our volunteers are specially trained to understand your needs and give you clear answers. We will help you compare your options and enroll in the plan that is best for you.

Venango County Area Agency on Aging will host individual Medicare counseling sessions during open enrollment. Individuals in need of assistance with their Medicare are encouraged to call the Venango County Area Agency on Aging at 814-432-9711 to schedule an appointment.
