Archaeology Presentation Scheduled for Carlton Truss

OIL CITY, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, invites the public to a presentation on the Swartz Archaeology Site located within the project area of the Carlton Truss (SR 1015) replacement project in Mercer County.

The purpose of the meeting is to present information on the significance of the
Swartz Archaeology site, which predates European contact, along with information
found at the site, and the overall history of the site. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

The meeting will be held:

DATE: Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014
TIME: 6 to 8 p.m.
Presentation at 6:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Cochranton Fire Department, Social Hall, 113 E. Adams St., Cochranton, PA 16314
