Area Firefighters Respond to Electrical Fire at Parker Furniture

CRANBERRY, Pa. (EYT) – Several local fire departments responded to an electrical fire at Parker Furniture & Carpet on Route 257 in Cranberry this morning.

Seneca Volunteer Fire Department and several other local fire departments responded to the blaze around 9:00 a.m.

Firefighters on the scene said they were able to quickly extinguish the electrical fire which started in a sign attached to the structure.

Other local departments assisting at the scene were Oil City Fire Department, Emlenton VFD, Rockland VFD, and Cornplanter VFD.

There is no word on the extent of the damages, however the business will remain open.
