‘Art on the Allegheny’ Gives Community Opportunity to Experience Natural Art

TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) – The Forest Area Arts Council will be holding its second annual Art on the Allegheny on Saturday, September 1. The celebration of the arts will take place at Tionesta Borough Park from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

All activities at Art on the Allegheny will be free for all ages.

Art on the Allegheny will have a little bit of everything for lovers of all things art. There will be landscape and nature artist vendors present that will offer a multitude of photography, pastels, paintings, and watercolors for sale while also taking time to demonstrate how they create their various works of art.

In addition to the artist vendors, there will be art experience workshops that will demonstrate how to create pastel and watercolor paintings. There will also be similar activities available for children. These demonstrations will be useful for people of all ages and of all talent levels.

Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chair to enjoy the musical performances of Scott and Kathy Pearson, Border Ride, Porch Music, and Celtic Creek. Multiple food vendors will be on hand.

The Forest Area Arts Council is seeking to provide an opportunity for the community to view and experience natural art from accomplished area artists and musiscians in a beautiful outdoor environment through Art on the Allegehny. The event is open to everyone to enjoy various forms of art and also enjoy fellowship with fellow communty members.

The Tionesta Borough Park is located along Church Street in Tionesta, Pa.
