Harrisburg – The Pennsylvania State Police investigated 709 crashes during the four-day Memorial Day holiday weekend. Those crashes, which do not include crashes investigated by local police, resulted in five deaths and 277 injuries.

Joanne L. Raybuck, 80 of Fairmount City, died on Tuesday evening, May 13, at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville. She was born on March 14, 1934 in Deanville and daughter of Harris B. and Phyllis A. (Shindledecker) George. She was married on August 26, 1950 to William H. Raybuck and he survives.
