Authorities Identify Victims in Fatal Forest County Crash

HOWE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Authorities have released the identities of the victims of a fatal accident that occurred on Monday afternoon on State Route 66, in Howe Township, Forest County.

According to a report released by the Marienville-based State Police, the victims have been identified as 40-year-old Nicklas Terry Desmond and 51-year-old Lawrence David Lineberger, both of Ridgway.

The crash occurred around 2:37 p.m. on Monday, July 2, when the unknown driver lost control of his vehicle and rolled over an undetermined amount of times on the roadway.

It is still undetermined who was driving the vehicle.

The vehicle came to a final rest off the east side of the roadway on the driver’s side.

Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.
