Authorities Suspect ‘Theraflu’ Heroin Cause of Butler County Man’s Death

BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. — Sources say ‘Theraflu’ Heroin is most likely the cause of a Butler County man’s death .

According to a published article in insidebutlercounty.com, 30-year-old Jayson Berardini was found dead in his Airport Road, Penn Township residence around 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

The cause of death is allegedly a heroin overdose, sources say.

Authorities say Berardini is believed to be the second Butler County victim of fentanyl-laced (“Theraflu”) heroin in two weeks.

Authorities are awaiting toxicology reports before issuing an official cause of death.
