Barbara A. Salsgiver, 59, of Clarion, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital Emergency Room.

She was born on March 18, 1957 in Clarion; daughter of the late Austin C. and Alice Z. Drumheller Beichner.

Barb was married on March 13, 1980 to Joseph F. Salsgiver, who preceded her in death on April 6, 1982.

She was a homemaker. Barb was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Reidsburg.

She enjoyed reading, spending time with her cats, and fishing.

Barb is survived by her son, Cliff C. Salsgiver of Clarion, one sister, Judy A. Cummings and her husband Terry of Salina, KS, a sister-in-law, Judy Beichner of Clarion, an aunt, Emogene Slabe of Clarion, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Cary Beichner.

Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017 in the Funeral Home with Rev. Trent Kirkland, pastor of the Zion Baptist Church in Reidsburg.
