Barbara-Staab-1466168882Barbara Louise “Barb” Staab, 74, of 108 SR 157, Oil City, died at 12:25 am, Thursday, June 16, 2016, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born April 18, 1942 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Snow and Lorena Miller Snow Fultz.

Barb was a Scholarship Administrator working for Stephen Kosak.

She was a member of St Stephen Church.

Barb enjoyed flower gardening, knitting, reading, and true to her spiritual beliefs, she read through the Bible three times.

She was very family oriented, a wonderful wife, mother and sister. She always put her family first and had a fantastic sense of humor which helped get her through many of life’s challenges. There will be a huge hole in the family’s lives.

On March 23, 1963 she was married to L. Edward Staab, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Barb is survived by two daughters, Jana Skewis and Diana Staab; two grandchildren, Michaela Skewis and Morgan Skewis; and a brother, Dale Snow.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Diane Staab; a grandson, Richard Burchfield; and a sister, Linda Wise.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Service will be conducted in Morrison Funeral Home at noon on Monday.
