12705759_762717870531636_5151274592581726308_nBeatrice A. Kriebel, 81, of Clareview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center passed away surrounded by family, Monday, February 15, 2016 following an extended illness.

Born May 15, 1934, in Knox area, Beatrice was the daughter of Merle and Ruth Reedy.

Beatrice was a homemaker and a care giver at Golden Living in Clarion and the old County Home. She enjoyed dancing to country music and singing karaoke and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beatrice is survived by five children Pam (Terry) Knight of Knox, Vickie Best of East Brady, Rhonda (Ed Greenawalt) Kriebel of Rimersburg, Jefferey (Nancy) Kriebel of Rimersberg and Ronald (Robin) Kriebel of Butler; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a sister Leora Crissman of Emlenton and a brother Lawerence Reedy of Grove City.

Along with her parents Beatrice was preceded in death by a sister Maxine Curtis and two brothers Clayton Reedy and Russell Reedy and a son in law Thomas Best.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday and from 10 to 11 am Thursday at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn Ave., Knox.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday in the funeral home with the Pastor Randy Evans, Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Interment will follow at the Dutch Hill Cemetery in West Freedom.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
