Beatrice L. Hutchinson

Beatrice L. Hutchinson, 97, of Oil City, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019 at Oakwood Heights.

Born September 25, 1921, in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late, Raymond and Ascenious Miller Hepler.

She was an active member of Free Methodist Church of Oil City for many years, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She loved crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family.

On December 24, 1938, she married Alvah J. Hutchinson, who preceded her in death on May 22, 2007.

Surviving are her children, Diane Puleo of Oil City, daughter-in-law Jill Hutchinson of Greenville, SC, and Robert Hutchinson, and his wife Phyllis, of Oil City; six grandchildren, Christopher Puleo, and his wife Kristine, of Seattle, WA, Matthew Joseph Puleo of Seattle, WA, Jason Hutchinson of Saegertown, Sarah Brown, and her husband Clay, of Greenville, SC, Melissa Knapp, and her husband Mac, of Titusville, and Thomas Hutchinson, and his wife Sarah, of West Mifflin; and nine great grandchildren, Will, Tucker, Chayton, David, Adelaide, Gunnar, Ona, Garret, and Bennet.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by son, Bruce Hutchinson.

Friends will be received at the Morrison Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, from 1 pm to 3 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 3 pm, with the Rev. Jamie Fowler officiating.

Interment will be in Shaw Farm Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Oakwood Heights Activities Department, 10 Vo Tech Drive, Oil City, PA 16301.
