Beaver County Woman Killed in One-Car Crash in Crawford County

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, a Beaver County woman was killed in a one-car crash along Route 19 in Greenwood Township, Crawford County, Pa.

According to Meadville-based State Police, 55-year-old Pamela Hagerty of Fombell, Beaver County, Pa., was driving north on Route 19 when her car — a Mazda 3 — crossed into the southbound lane and went off the west side of the road around 12:20 a.m. this morning.

Police say Ms. Hagerty’s vehicle then traveled 175 feet off the berm and into a roadside ditch before it struck a tree on the front driver’s side.

Crawford County Coroner, Scott Schell, pronounced Ms. Hagerty dead at the scene of the crash from multiple blunt force trauma; she was wearing a seat belt.

Sheakleyville and Greenwood Township VFD’s and Cochranton and Conneaut Lake ambulance services assisted at the scene.
