Betty Lou Andrews

Betty Lou Andrews, 95, of Hadley, formerly of Reno, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at Avalon Springs Nursing Center in Mercer.

Born November 10, 1921 in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Martha Mildred Lokey Urey.

Betty Lou was a graduate of Oil City High School in 1939.

She had retired from Goss Gas Products in Reno where she was a secretary.

Betty Lou was a life-time member of Reno United Methodist Church.

She also was a member of Holly Chapter #91 Order of Eastern Star, Ladies Auxiliary of Talbot Commandery and Wimodausis of New Castle.

She was married June 17, 1946 to Wilbur M. Andrews who preceded her in death on December 12, 1996.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan L. First of Hadley and Cathy L. Fuller and her husband Alvin of Paul Smith’s, NY; four grandchildren, Katherine Spaltro and her husband Joshua, William First, Catherine Fuller and Abigail Fuller; and one great granddaughter Taylor First.

Also surviving is a brother, Calvin R. Urey of Titusville.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Monday from 10 to 12 noon.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 12 noon.

Interment will be in Reno Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Research Foundation.
