5c4b7f9d5aa34Beverly L. Jordan, 65, of Perry Twp., Parker, Pa., passed away Friday morning (01-25-19) at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo following an extended illness.

Born in Clarion, Pa., on December 7, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer Duane and Betty Louise Murray Jordan.

Beverly graduated from Keystone High School in Knox in 1971. She later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clarion University as well as a Master’s in Library Science from Clarion.

She was an avid student of genealogy, an avid reader, and loved caring for her cats.

Surviving are two brothers: Chris Jordan of Hilliard, OH., and David Jordan of Clarview at Sligo; son, Brian Miller; grandchildren, Britney Forsythe, Amber Nolf, Travis Miller, and Trevor Miller; uncle, Forrest Jordan of Parker; aunts, Shirley, Geraldine, and Carolyn; cousin, Jeff Murray and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and son, William “Bill” Miller.

Friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker (201 S. Wayne Ave). The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Amy Callander officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Bev’s honor to the Park Hill Church of God, Lime Plant Rd, Parker 16049.
