KNOX, Pa. (EYT) — Big Brothers Big Sisters will hold its First “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” event on Saturday, January 28, at the Mt. Joy Lanes in Knox.

The Bowl For Kids’ Sake is the major fundraiser for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Oil Region can make a positive, long-lasting impact on children in the community.

Groups or individuals can become a sponsor, donor, or bowler.

Every dollar raised from this event goes directly to support local matches, build new ones, and initiate friendships that can start something amazing.

Individuals or businesses can be a Bowl For Kids’ Sake sponsor at various levels; if you can give financially there are four levels to choose from.

There are opportunities to be a Food Sponsor, Grand Prize Sponsor or a Door Prize Sponsor.

For those wishing to participate in the bowling, a team can be organized with three to five other family members, friends, neighbors, or co-workers.

The registration deadline is Saturday, January 7.
