Boocks Named KSAC Girls’ Basketball MVP; All-Conference Teams Named

KNOX, Pa. (D9Sports) – In voting by the league’s coaches, A-C Valley’s Olivia Boocks was named the KSAC girls’ basketball MVP.

Boocks helped lead the Lady Falcons to their first-ever KSAC Title, a second-place finish in District 9 Class 2A and a second consecutive PIAA playoff berth (A-C Valley plays Friday) by averaging 12.9 points per game.

In addition to Boocks being named MVP, a first-, second- and third-team All-Conference team was named.

The first team consists of Boocks A-C Valley teammates Kylee Eaton (11.7 ppg) and Cami McNany (12.8 ppg), North Clarion’s Abby Gatesman (14.2 ppg), Cranberry’s Malliah Schreck (18.8 ppg) and Clarion’s Kait Constantino (13.0 ppg).

On the second team are Redbank Valley’s Tara Hinderliter (18.0 ppg), Clarion’s Wendy Beveridge (9.0 ppg), North Clarion’s Mackenzie Bauer (10.4 ppg), Keystone’s McKenzie Hovis (12.0 ppg) and Union’s Dominika Logue (13.3 ppg).

Third-team choices included three Moniteau players – Kristin Auvil (14.2 ppg), Andie Arblaster (7.5 ppg) and Aslyn Pry (8.6 ppg) – Keystone’s Emily Lauer (12.5 ppg) and Clarion’s KK Girvin (10.0 ppg).
