Boys’ Basketball: General McLane Pulls Away from Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – A big third quarter helped visiting General McLane pull away from Oil City for a 62-41 win Tuesday night.

The Lancers led by just five, 28-23, at halftime but outscored the Oilers 26-11 in the third quarter to take control of the game.

Seth Myers led General McLane with 19 points with Logan Donahue adding 18.

Holden Stahl paced Oil City with 10 points.


GROVE CITY, Pa. – Logan Lutz led a foursome of Grove City players in double digits with 18 points, as the Eagles downed visiting Franklin, 69-40.

Caden Mattock added 16 points for Grove City with Marcos Cintron scoring 14 and Danny Timko 12.

Zak Smith had 10 points for Franklin with Tyus Wood chipping in nine.


GIRARD, Pa. – Fifteen points from Buxton McCaslin helped Girard beat visiting Rocky Grove, 57-38.

Cameron Feathers added 11 points for the victors.

Gabe Francic had a team-high 13 points for Rocky Grove with Zac Clayton adding 11.
