Brandon A. Warfield, 36, of Emlenton, went to heaven to be reunited with his grandparents while at home late Thursday evening, February 1, 2018.

Brandon was born in Pittsburgh on April 5, 1981. He was the son Spencer E. Warfield of Emlenton and Denise L. Goans Mains of Emlenton.

He was a 1999 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg and a U.S. Army veteran. Brandon had earned the rank of SPCE4 and served in Kosovo.

Brandon was an avid sports fan, and especially liked the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a charmer, part-time comedienne, and was friendly to everyone he met. Was always willing to help anyone.

In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by two sons, Alexander K. and Sebastian C. Warfield of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Mitchell K. Warfield and his wife, April, of Parker; a sister, Amanda L. Matassa and her husband, Travis, of Emlenton; his niece, Jada Marie Warfield; two nephews, Thatcher Mains and Cooper Lee Matassa, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, an uncle, as well as his stepfather and stepmother.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. from the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Lenk, pastor of the Emlenton United Methodist Church, officiating. Military honors conducted by the VETS Honor Guard of Franklin will be accorded at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.
