Brannon Helps Cranberry Baseball to Victory

MARIENVILLE, Pa. (D9Sports) – Nolan Brannon went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored to lead Cranberry to a 14-0, five-inning win over Forest Area at East Forest.

Andrew Gunn and Brannon combined on a one-hit shutout for the Berries. Gunn went three innings giving up a hit, hitting a batter and walking a batter, while Brannon went two innings while hitting a batter, walking two and striking out five.

Noah Burke had the lone Fires hit.

REDBANK VALLEY 16, KEYSTONE 1, 4 INNINGS

OAK RIDGE, Pa. – A 10-run bottom of the fourth led to the 15-Run Rule for Redbank Valley in its 16-1 rout of visiting Keystone.

The Bulldogs had nine hits and worked four Keystone pitchers for 11 walks. Blaney Brooks, Cameron Travis and Logan Wadding each had two hits. Brooks homered and scored three runs, Travis scored twice and drove in two runs and Wadding drove in three runs.

Grayson Harman went all four innings for the Bulldogs, allowing two hits while striking out two and walking none. Keystone’s lone run was unearned.

Sawyer Reed and Corey Rapp had the hits for the Panthers.
