Clarion County Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Woman

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 27-year-old Leeper man is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman on Monday afternoon.

Marienville-based State Police say the alleged incident happened around 1:00 p.m. in a wooded area near Kline Drive in Farmington Township when 27-year-old Alexander Frederick Forbes IV, of Leeper, allegedly forced a known 22-year-old woman to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

Forbes was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Timothy Schill.

He was remanded to Clarion County Jail after failing to post $50,000 bail.

Police did not detail specific charges against Forbes, but listed the nature of the incident as Rape.
