CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 39-year-old Corsica man was killed in an ATV accident yesterday afternoon.

Clarion-based State Police say David A. Crate, of Corsica, was traveling north on Carney Road near SR-322 when for unknown reasons he failed to negotiate a left turn in the roadway.

Crate’s vehicle traveled over the berm and struck an embankment at which point he was ejected from the ATV.

Crate was pronounced dead at the scene by Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer.
