Police Release Identity of Man Killed in Route 66 Crash

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Officials have released the identity of a Leeper man killed in a one-vehicle crash along Route 66 in Paint Township early this morning.

Sources say the accident happened around 4:10 a.m. when a pickup truck collided with a tree along Route 66 near the Dew Drop Inn in the Lucinda area.

Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer told exploreClarion.com that the man killed in the crash has been identified as 37-year-old Chad Anthony of Leeper.

Shaffer says the cause of death is most likely a broken neck.

Specific details on the crash have not yet been released.
