Route 322 Re-Opens After Three-Vehicle Crash

ASHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A three-vehicle collision shut down a portion of U.S. Route 322 near the Clarion-Venango county border on Monday morning.

Clarion County 9-1-1 said the call came in around 10:23 a.m. for a report of a three-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 322 near Kline Road in Ashland Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police, Knox Volunteer Fire Department, Knox EMS, Shippenville Ambulance, and PennDOT were dispatched to the scene.

Initial reports indicate the accident involved a head-on collision and three people were injured.

Multiple patients were transported to UMPC Northwest for treatment.

The roadway re-opened around 11:50 a.m.
