FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Jamie Hunt and Lana Linden will now officially face off for Venango County Prothonotary after both secured their party’s nominations on Tuesday in the Primary Election.

Neither candidate was running opposed with Hunt earning the Democratic nomination with 1,539 votes and Linden securing the Republican nomination with 4,113 votes.

The duo is vying to replace Paula Palmer, who has served as Prothonotary since 2009 but decided not to seek re-election this year.
