Woman Life-Flighted in Sugarcreek Crash

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Two women were injured in a crash along Route 8 in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County this afternoon.

According to emergency officials, a woman was life-flighted to UPMC Hamot in Erie and another woman was transported to UPMC Northwest following a two-vehicle crash on Route 8 near King’s restaurant.

The crash took place around 2:00 p.m.

Emergency crews are currently on the scene clearing the roadway of debris.

The names of the women injured in the crash were not release.

Police are expected to release more information within the next 48 hours.
