UPDATE: State Police ID 81-Year-Old Woman Struck By Vehicle in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Franklin have released the identity of an elderly woman who was struck by a vehicle on Grand Avenue late Friday afternoon.

According to a representative of Venango County 911, the call came in at 4:32 p.m.

Franklin-based State Police Tpr. Young said 81-year-old Shirley Jane Baughman was attempting to cross Grandview Avenue near Hasson Heights Elementary School when she was struck by a vehicle operated by 20-year-old Seth John Billstone.

STAT MedEvac transported Baughman from the scene to UPMC Hamot in Eria.

There is no word on her current condition.

Billstone and a passenger — 19-year-old Rebecca Elise Crouse — were not injured in the accident.

Cornplanter VFD and Community Ambulance also responded to the scene.
