Police Investigating Murder-Suicide in Clarion County

RIMERSBURG, Pa. — State police in Clarion said the deaths of a man and woman found at a Rimersburg residence are being investigated as a murder-suicide.

The bodies of 70-year-old Anna M. Yoder and 70-year-old James L. Yoder were found deceased at their residence in Rimersburg last night around 5:40 p.m.

According to police, an investigation revealed that Mr. Yoder shot and killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself.

Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer and Clarion County District Attorney Mark Aaron assisted at the scene.

District Attorney Mark Aaron declined to comment on the incident.
