Police Searching for Oil City Woman Accused in Fraud Case

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Authorities in Venango County are searching for an Oil City woman who is wanted in connection with a fraud investigation.

According to a release issued by Oil City Police Patrolman Ruditis, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 25-year-old Heather Marie Wolfe.

The following charges were filed against Wolfe on January 19 at Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office:

  • Access Device Issued to Another Who Did Not Authorize Use, Felony 3
  • Access Device Issued to Another Who Did Not Authorize Use, Misdemeanor 1 (4 counts)
  • Access Device Issued to Another Who Did Not Authorize Use, Misdemeanor 2 (15 counts)
  • Theft By Unlawful Taking-Movable Property, Misdemeanor 1

Police said Wolfe allegedly used a credit card to purchase multiple items at stores throughout Venango County between December 2017 and January 2018.

She did not have the credit card owners’ permission to use the card, according to police.
