UPDATE: Route 58 Remains Closed Following Tractor-Trailer Rollover

RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A portion of State Route 58 near Foxburg remains closed following a tractor-trailer rollover accident that occured Wednesday afternoon.

According to a representative of Clarion County 9-1-1, the roadway is still closed as of 7:56 a.m. on Thursday, January 10.

The crash occurred around 12:28 p.m. near 1312 Route 58 in Richland Township, Clarion County.

St. Petersburg Volunteer Fire Company, Emlenton Fire Department, Knox Area Ambulance Service, and Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

One patient was transported from the scene by Knox Area Ambulance Service.

According to the Clarion-based State Police, State Route 58 was closed for the removal of the truck.

State police told exploreClarion.com that “the tanker needed to be emptied before it could be removed.”

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release additional information within the next 48 hours.
