Southbound Lanes of Route 8 Reopened Following Crash

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – The southbound lanes of State Route 8 near Reno have been reopened following a motor vehicle crash that closed them earlier this morning.

According to a representative of Venango County 9-1-1, they received a call reporting a one-vehicle crash on State Route 8 near the Reno area around 6:49 a.m.

Reno Volunteer Fire Department, Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department, Community Ambulance Service, and Franklin-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

The southbound lanes of State Route 8 were subsequently closed.

The roadway reopened and the scene was cleared around 8:10 a.m.
