UPDATE: Standoff in Jackson Center Over, One Shot

JACKSON CENTER, Pa. (EYT) – Police responded to the scene of a standoff at an apartment in Jackson Center, Mercer County, earlier this morning.

Pennsylvania State Police and a SWAT team responded to the scene of an apparent shooting along Route 62 (Franklin Road) around 6 a.m.

According to WKBN, a man was was shot, but survived. There is no word on his condition.

The alleged shooter remained in the apartment for over 2 hours until the standoff ended.

A representative with Mercer-based State Police told exploreVenango.com that there were no fatalities, but declined not release any further information.
