UPDATE: Route 62 Re-Opens Following Vehicle Accident

VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. — Route 62 has re-opened in Mercer and Venango Counties following a single-vehicle crash.

At 3:43 p.m., PennDOT media spokesperson Jill Harry reported that both lanes of the roadway were open.

The roadway was closed from the intersection with Route 173 (Grove City Road) in Sandy Lake, Mercer County to the intersection with Route 965 (Jackson Center-Polk Road) in Frenchcreek Township, Venango County.

Specific details on the accident have not been released.
