RENO, Pa. (EYT) — A convicted sex offender from Reno is facing child pornography charges after a search by investigators revealed websites with children engaging in sexual activity in his computer history.

Court documents indicate the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 59-year-old Donald Keith Love, of Reno.

He was arraigned at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, in Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office on one count of third-degree felony child pornography.

According to a criminal complaint, Parole Agent Spence advised Lieutenant Baker that Donald Love had items on his computer history that looked like child pornography.

Love was on Spence’s caseload for failure to comply with registration as a sex offender.

Agent Spence and Lieutenant Baker proceeded to Love’s residence in Reno, and Agent Spence showed Lieutenant Baker the websites, one of the websites depicted young males, under the age of 18, engaging in sexual acts, and another website clearly displayed children under the age of 18 in full nudity.

Lieutenant Baker estimated the children shown to be between the ages of six to eight years old.

Charges were filed in Judge Lowrey’s office on Thursday, June 14.

Unable to post $5,000.00 cash bail, Love was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, with Judge Lowrey presiding.
