Oil City Man Flown to Hamot After Vehicle Crashes into Tree in President Twp.

PRESIDENT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred Tuesday night on Eagle Rock Road, in President Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 6:57 p.m. on October 16, 70-year-old Robert J. Craft, of Oil City, was traveling north on Eagle Rock Road and his 2016 Toyota Tacoma left the east side of the roadway. The vehicle entered a ditch and then struck a tree.

Craft suffered suspected major injuries; he was flown from the scene by STAT MedEvac to UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie.

Cornplanter Volunteer Fire Department, Community Ambulance, and STAT MedEvac assisted PSP Franklin at the scene.
